A Warm Welcome to The Ship Inn!

The Ship is one of the oldest buildings in Herne Bay and is steeped in history. The Ship re-opened in February 2010 under new management. Also in 2010 an outside decking area was added so that diners and drinkers can sit outside with uninterrupted views of the sea!

John, James and Michael are the chefs and we have a great front of house team with the expertise to provide a prompt and efficient service every time. We have an evening chalkboard menu that changes weekly, so be assured when you visit The Ship you can always expect good food at a very competitive price. Well behaved children are most welcome in The Ship until 6.00pm. Then we are a pub for well behaved adults only!!
